If you want to allow your respondents to attach files to their answers, then make sure to use the "file upload" question type in your campaign. This type of question is a feature of the Silver and Gold plans that enables your respondents to upload any file from their computer or mobile device.
This feature allows any type of file with a maximum size of 10 MB. For example, you can ask your respondents to send you an MP3 file, a document .doc with their resume, or with a photo in .JPEG format.
Additionally, you can upload files from your mobile device. If your respondents access your campaign from a cellphone or tablet, they can upload a photo from their gallery or take a new one with their camera and upload it.
¿How to use this type of question?
In the questions section, you have to select “File upload” and then you must complete the question field. In addition, you can use some of the optional features.
Question: Enter the text of your question or the instructions indicating the respondents to attach their file.
The respondent will be asked to click on “Choose a file” and upload the file from their computer, or drag it and drop the file on the dotted box. In this case, we asked the user to upload their CV, but you can ask them to upload an image, a pdf file or anything you like.
If a wrong file was uploaded, the respondent can eliminate it (with the “X” found on the top right angle of the file) and then upload the correct one.
You can edit the format of the text entered with bold, italics or underline it!
Description: Activate it if you want a description below the question.
This will be very useful to make clarifications or specify something related to the file that will be uploaded. These will appear directly under the text of the question and above the icon where they must click to upload their file.
